Body: white wine like.

Nose: smells very youthfull, hint of wine, salty, hint of peat, little green, hint of oak i want to say a bit of citrus, lemon perhaps

Palate: theres that lemon fruit again, some stewed apples and pears, a little peat surfacing but only at the end

Finish: soft peat, with some coalyness and oak, with some fruit!

At £22 for a 20cl bottle it was good in terms of getting a taste but for a 9 year old its not that amazing for £70 a bottle!

You should buy my Glentauchers 1998 11yo 45% 70cl for £32 - much better value and a cracking dram (and I do say so myself!!)
