Can't really argue with that

That's a really nice dram - but slightly different to the regular Glenfiddich profile IIRC. Quite waxy.

you can't blame them. it's well known that the scots don't have any hopes and dreams.

Well, you certainly cant blaim the americans for not having an over heightened sence of national awareness...

Guys, how do you acomplish this with a nation less than 300years old?
Come back when you have a couple of thousand years under the belt and the credit for discovering much of the known world before those spaniards even thought about setting sail....

But back to this release... seems like the women of the Grants marketing department has taken over on this one... :-o

I wonder what the next thing will be... Maybe a time capsule thingy?

I don't think there's anyone on this forum whose memory extends as far as 300 years. If it matters, I seem to recall that mr mongo's heritage is of a culture far older than Denmark's.

Cask available for viewing and signing now on at Summerhill LCBO store (only relevant for anyone in or around Toronto in the next few hours). Also available for free sampling are the 12/15/18 'fiddichs - the 21yo is at the tasting tower for a fee.

According to the guy serving the samples there are 3 casks circulating Ontario. The whisky finished (for ~3 months) in these casks will be bottled and sold at LCBO.
