Matured in ex-bourbon Maker's Mark Casks.

Color: Pale gold straw.

Nose: Pungent peat, maritime influences, distant sweetness, bourbon note. Smoke intertwined with bourbon sweetness; spices, vanilla; soot, wood/twigs.

Palate: Ashen smoke backed by peat and a bourbon sweetness; wood and vanilla spices. A definite Maker's Mark influence.

I thought this was pretty great. Crisp, clear flavors with a slight twist on Laphroaig with a decent punch of bourbon influence.
