Best Toronto LCBO?

Postby Canucklehead » 09 Jan 2010, 02:29

I live just south of Hamilton, where the selection of scotch is "acceptable".

Usually, when I use the LCBO search feature, what I want is down the QEW.

Is there one or two particular Toronto LCBOs with standout selections?

Yonge and Summerhill is the top LCBO...I guess Queens Quay and Yonge is second (just off the Gardiner).

The GTA especially around the Woodbridge area has some good selection LCBOs....most of them are big new buildings.

you should have made a new thread about this to get exposure. it was nothing to do with what liquor stores in toronto are good.

The Summerhill/Yonge, Yonge/Queen's Quay and Bayview Village stores are the "flagship" stores with the biggest scotch selections in TO. I would put the Summerhill location above the other two.

Screech is related to rum, not whisky.

I don't understand why this thread is in the World Whiskies forum, anyway.
