Mortlach 17yo, 46%, Signatory Vintage, UCF, 1990-2007, Sherry Hogshead, Cask #5958, 712 bottles

Nose: Lemon, lime, slight meatiness, vanilla. Smokey! Quite light.
Palate: Light, lemony, hint of sugar.
Finish: Lightly spicy, shortish.
Comment: Light and enjoyable. The empty glass is amazingly smokey. This is as peaty a Mortlach as I can remember, but it doesn't impact on the taste very much.
