OB 12yo 70th Anniversary 58% - Miyagikyo

Nose: Malty and floral sweet with underlying passion fruit and then the malt returns. Hints of burning heather. A few drops of water and it explodes into a fresh flower shop.
Taste: Typical Japanese delcacy despite the strength. Floral toffee. Water Water brings nutty tobacco and more water softens it beautifully.
Finish: Very drying, takes a lot of water and then gets sherbetty. Yummy.
Comments: Some thought this was a bit bitter, but it really works for me.

It is better to have drunk it all than never to have drunk at all.
