OB 25yo 57.8% 2004 release - Talisker

[MacDeffe]

Nose : Sweet, liquer like, slightly smoked
Palate : some harshness, sweetness and slight smoke
Finish : spirits

Dissaponting. I can't find the age in this, apart from some harsh wood, and I really prefer the 10yr a lot

When someone at the factory said "please add 5% talisker to the drambuie" its like someone added 5% drambuie to something"

I have to say I rate 10yr talisker as one of the best standard malts if not THE best so my expectations were high

I have a feeling this did not come from the best selection of casks
