New Make - Talisker:
Tasted: 08/04/2009
Nose: Peaty, tarry, some sulphury compounds (from distillation), berry fruits, but very subdued underneath the peat.
Palate: Big smoke, new leather, very sweet and peppery.
Finish: Longish, hot, peppery.
Comment: Much more peat than I expected, but the Talisker character comes to the fore.
