I believe both of those premises are false. And now we have posters distorting the facts, deliberately or otherwise, for the purpose of making false accusations and slinging mud, to what useful end I cannot imagine. You've had an apology, explanation, and retraction. I don't see how you feel you are entitled to anything more.

As much as I dislike Rangers, the SPL would not be the same without them. No offence to Rangers fans. Better make that, clear!
Their actions this time, though, could cost people their jobs beyond Ibrox. Thdy cost other clubs money by not paying for players, at least in one case. And they cost Celtic money by depriving them of the title.

Beach Volley

Previously there were two uniform choices for female players, a one-piece bathing suit or a bikini with a maximum side width of 7cm. Now, there are two extra choices. Players can wear shorts of a maximum length of 3cm above the knee and sleeved or sleeveless tops.

This might affect my Olympic schedule

We played some very good stuff in the first half, but what really annoys me is that as soon as we get a tall striker on the field - Carroll, Crouch, whoever - it's just one long ball after another lumped to him, which we inevitably give away to then just invite more pressure on us defensively. As a result we were abysmal in the second half and all throughout extra time and absolutely deserved to lose, and had it not been for Terry and Johnson at the back - who were both excellent - the scoreline could have been embarrassing.

In a way though I'm glad we didn't get through, because if we played against Germany like that we would no doubt be annihilated.

Stuart it was very poor and Rooney looked a stone over weight and was puffing like I would. The semi final line up is really exciting. Now England are out you can enjoy the competition as a neutral observer. I quite fancy Portugal to beat Spain tomorrow.

I think Hodgson has brought a bit of dignity to the England team - a miracle given that John Terry is there. He may have done it at the expense of a little flair. He got the team to where any other manager did and in a very short space of time.

No arguments there - although I personally feel that Terry had a pretty good tournament on the whole. It just puzzles me that halfway through games we either seem to run out of ideas, panic or just get bored of doing simple passes and resort to whacking long balls over the top, which usually don't work against top-quality teams.

For the first time in a long time England look difficult to break down. Now Hodgson just needs to get them 'playing' while still maintaining the solid shape.

England's problem imo, is that so many of those players are quite simply as thick-as-pigshit. Those times when England need to "play it smart" there are a certain few that play it like numbskulls, the same few that struggle to string a sentence together in interviews.

Pete I don't think you are a million miles off there. But do you think we should judge footballers by their vocabulary and comprehension. Their have been some good players over the years that are as daft as a box of frogs.

No Les i don't, that wasn't my complaint, it just supports my own theory that some English players should perform 'smarter' on the pitch.

If you are only interested in the maillot jaune it was not very interesting indeed, however other riders had their time to shine. Thinking of two of your countrymen Steffen, Morkov and Chris Anker Sorensen for example.

Plus the years with Armstrong were not that exciting either ;)
