Maybe FI complained that others had higher counts than him?
The only way they could fix that would be not to display them :D

Matt told me he wanted to remove the postcounts because (a) he thought some people were posting purely to increase their post counts and he thought that it was a dubois, sorry dubious practice and (b) to enable them to delete threads without people noticing and complaining about post counts.

One thing is that it looks like Matt has chucked a load of red paint all over the place. It hurts the eyes. I prefer the colour scheme here. Much more peaceful.

Les, he bought it cheap on e-bay off his pal FI. ;)

Nick, re Dubious/Dubois - I think his posts are great, straight to the point of what he's dramming and what classical music he's listening to. A real class act, if less discursive, compared to others.

Post counts don't matter anyway.

You can still see everyone's post counts if you look at the member's list.

You missed the third style of post: Happy Birthday [insert name]. Enjoy the day!

No, I never really saw the point of wishing inactive posters a happy birthday either - especially those that couldn't be bothered to post anything after they registered.

Exactly my sentiments Stuart, it's not as if they'd ever know the best wishes coming there way anyway.

Not sure about the leather - the colour is too similar to the wood, but the leather and bare boards seem a bit incongruous.
