Quite brilliant.

A great book, i enjoyed the aspect of the loss of identity behind painted-faces. I remember Percival Wemys Madison, who then forgets his name.

I have just started Rosie Swale Pope's "Just A Little Run Around The World", 5 years 3 packs of wolves and 53 pairs of shoes.

This was a good read, very emotional as she went for a run in memory of her husband who had just died.

For my recent birthday my fella got for me the Millennium Trilogy by Steig Larsson, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest. They are big books so that is my winter reading.

Dave Broom's World Atlas Of Whisky. Dave Broom is a legend, but i can't work out what this book is for, i'm not sure i see the point in it.

Raise the Titanic - Clive Cusser, I'm reading all the Dirk Pitt adventure novels in order, this is the 3rd (or 4th depending if you go off when they were written or published). Their just good fun and haven't really aged considering they started in the 70's.

Liked Andrew Jefford's book a lot. Enough to buy his wine book 'The New France' has s imilar easy going but informed style.
Finally got round to reading True Grit. A fast paced gallop.
The Cohen's recent film seems in keeping with the book. Grimy cold and damp.

Terry Pratchett is the author who personally got me back into reading after being forced to read books i wasn't interested in at school and i still get every one of his books.

i think that may be happening to me.. i've maybe read 2 books since leaving school in 2000 because the ones we were made to read were crap.. except lord of the flies. i enjoyed that. this pratchett book has me wanting to read more of his stuff and i've not read that much of it yet.

To some degree.Seems arrogant selfish and pretty unpleasant to his band so far.early days tho.Interesting that quite a few band members stayed a long time so cant have been all bad
