Colour: Pale, canary gold.
Nose: Earthy, peat, juicy cereal crop, pineapple, apple, grape, sherbet, green tea... complex.
Taste: Ash, tobacco, smokey arrival, coconut, cigarettes, compost and hay. Farmy
Finish: Olive oil, ash, smoke, green leaves (chlorophyl), bitter-ish finish. light but significant.
Lovely. Typical Islay that would not upset a typical malt buyer, but would leave an Islay-phile yearning for more. A mainstream Islay at a good price, it could compete with a Bowmore 10/12 definitley .
