Colour: Light gold - gold.

Nose: Saline, very vegetal and a hint of vomit. Old, damp wood. A hint of smoke in the background, but very old smoke - not fresh smoke. Some soap.

Mouth: Creamy and then peppery and harsh. Becomes fiery the longer you keep it in your mouth. Nutty.

Finish: Rough, oily and bitter. A touch soapy. A hint of dark chocolate at the death. Perhaps a touch of grapefruit lurking underneath.

Comments: I preferred the 17yo to this expression by a long shot. It seems to lack any sweetness to balance the bitter in my opinion.
