Armorik Single Malt (Whisky Breton) 40%

N: musty, grist hoppers, grist mill, malty

T: malty, warm spice, lemon, hay, grassy, slight young note, gristy

F: warm, toasty, lemongrass

Not a complex whisky - it noses and tastes like the mill room of a distillery - sweet, sugary and malty. But it does this with real flair - just the slightest hint of young feints. A real session whisky.

Nose – Fresh paint, bananas, oatcakes, dusty vanilla, breakfast cereal.
Palate - A bit cardboardy at first, but then quite juicy then a late hit of fruity sweets. A slightly watery texture.
Finish - Short, spicy, a slight almost corn edge. Still very juicy

It is better to have drunk it all than never to have drunk at all.
