Glass used: Good Ole Snifter

Tasted neat/reduced: Neat, added water , ill sum up in conclusion.

Nose: The big thing to notice was the vanilla, lots of it, real vanilla pods as well as mackay's ice cream, tangerine, dried orange peel, mulled spices, cinnamon, intense nose. Sugars and Rum are noticeable - as per usual with some grains.

Palate: Intense in flavours and strength, straw, hay, oily character which i love about this dram, sweet ginger, almost pears, orange sweets appear, vanilla again. Not to intense and a fairly light body that worked really well with the flavours/character.

Finish: Long, Hot, very oaky with even more vanilla

I could have spent a further 30minutes on this dram, sadly didnt have the time. I am always open to Grain whiskies and this is a great example. I do love this whisky....and pray that it stays producing for the future!!!

Water seemed not to ruin this whisky in any way but just dull the effects, the flavours weren't released but more subdued , recommend without water (depending on time of day...).
