Age? bough in auction as vintage bottle.
front no. ? I'll update in a day to 2.
Tasting note. Can recall exact order. but seemed spot on comments.
In glass: gorgeous. swirled it in amazement, Is called legs ?
Nose: fresh corn rising, tobacco, leather
Taste Crème brûlée at Lips,
butter, corn, soft, tobacco-like, peanut, others,
this effect less chew ? (I'm thinking like chewing tobacco which I've never had nor smoke just smelt and seen it),
sourness. balance of other flavors come in again so it's not like JD.
mouth feel: buttery, soft, smooth, creme, leathery ,chewy, sides down with ease , warm, complex,
Finish: Chew, soft, enormous gentle warmth from deep down rises up the to the chest.
I'm sure you could drink that bottle and go to heaven.
Comment: The Balance is Outstanding. And all the flavors and texture is exactly what I like anyway.
Maybe thats why this is the drink I have fully liked and found truly self indulging.
I first notice George Dickel in the Chevy Chase film funny farm.
When started buying bottles long ago and still today I have not found a drink I totally savor at all.
I was getting very jealous that every one had there drink and Not me
I tried JD as it get constant movie spots. I was bored. maybe it's better in US or long ago
Yes I tried many drinks in bourbon, scotch, 1 irish, blends, say 40 or over the years.
many there were parts of the drink I like. Others dislike totally. Oh those just stick of alcohol. Help. YUK
Look at Chevy's Face in the movie.
I wanted a drink that would truly give me that expression.
This drink was only 50ml so could not exactly indulge. Every drop was spared bit by bit over 1 week.
I did order the Big Bottle. And
nothing really goes right for me.
