Glass used: Good Ole Snifter

Tasted neat/reduced: Neat, added water but ill ignore those notes.

Nose: Interesting Nose, some intense exotic fruit notes stand out. Perhaps along the lines of a tooti-fruity syrup? Sherbert, marmalade, sandalwood- whats intriguing is an overlying feeling that reminds me of something musty and I really want to say cowpats. (in a bizarre and intriguing sense.)

Palate: Lots of wood influence, fairly dry, bitter marmalade (Cheap marmalade), disappointingly thin and waterly.

Finish: Minimal, bland with a soft wood spice feel.

This is a new addition to Amrut, I feel dissapointed - it has a high price tag - yet compared to some of their other bottlings is a let down, especially with the marketing nonsense behind its maturation? I shall taste the Fusion tommorrow and hope for more.
