Colour: Light gold - gold.
Nose: Sweet, citrus, ozone. Soft, smoky dampness.
Mouth: Fizzy and spicy at first, becoming hot with chilli and then softening to fruits - orange and lemon - with some barley sugar.
Finish: Wow! A blast of pepper gives way to a touch of subtle chocolate and a long floral, bitter finish.
Water brings more smoke on the nose and on the back of the throat on the finish. Ash. More bitterness too.
Comments: A decent dram but still showing its youth. Not quite there yet but this will be a very interesting whisky in a few years. Possibly my least favourite of the 6 tasted but that's not to say it's bad.
