so is glenfarclas predominantly second-fill sherry then?

i wonder what macallan's ex-sherry/ex-bourbon ratios are like now.

How's that for 'precision'? ;)

However, I do think it's fair to state that many Glenfarclas fans have noted a fair degree of variation in Sherry cask impact on certain bottlings down through the years (such as the 15-year old releases).

For the 15 YO, the variation in sherry cask is due to the change of provider (Bodega) that took place about 17 years ago.
