Bourbon bottling codes

Postby bpbleus » 04 Feb 2012, 07:01

I got a somewhat older bottling of the 7 yo Old Weller Antique from the BT era (bottled in Frankfurt, UPC starting with 88004) and was wondering about the year of bottling. These bottles don't have a code printed/etched on glass, but there are some codes on the label.

The lower right corner of the back label states:

06.5683.01

and the lower right corner of the front label states:

04.5684.01

Is there any way to figure out the year of bottling?

Thanks!!!

Thanks! It is not easy to become a member, but I managed to pass their ballot because of the good fortune of having a work email address (they don't admit folks with just a public email address). If useful answers turn up, I'll report back on this.
