I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I live and work on a country estate in NE Scotland. My boss is in the process of building a country restaurant that will hopefully stock and sell the best of local produce. Anyway, he wanted suggestions as to what to stock so I suggested, as you would, whisky. I showed photos of the Highlander Inn Glendronach to highlight just what could be done. He liked it
I've now been asked to look into it, see if it is feasible and if so make it happen. The trouble is I wouldn't even know where to start. It surely can't be as simple as calling the distillery and going round to select a cask? Any advice on where to look or what to do would be welcome.
