If so, bagsy-first.

Keith

My room has a couch that folds out into a bed so I got your accomodations covered now all you need to worry about is a flight.

You're tempting another wee story out of me aren't you Nick?

OK, you've succeeded:

My first job was in the IT department of ASDA, working on a Honeywell mainframe. Anyway I worked shifts and the data centre was literally just down the road from the Leeds Olympic swimming pool.
It's amazing what one chats about during a night shift but one conversation turned to swimming and I claimed that I used to be quite a fast swimmer, but only breast stroke.

My counterpart claimed the same as he swam breast stroke for his school.

The gauntlet was thrown down.

A few days later, after our night shift and a hearty breakfast in the canteen we decamped to the pool.

After about 3/4 of a length of the Olympic pool we both fought to stay afloat whilst coughing and spluttering ..... well it was a good few years since we had both swam.

We determined to do something about it and swam weekly, gradually increasing the number of lengths until one day, we got into the pool, swam 100 lengths non-stop, then got out of the pool.
Yes it was close, but I seem to recall I won.

I have a feeling that was the last time I swam.
It must have been about 30 years ago.

Deja Vu perhaps?

Thank's for that information

Is there any chance you will announce it before the event and perhaps tell us what it is?

I think I quite fancy one of these if the price is right!! I might be a few minutes late to the festival, so I hope they don't sell out too quickly!!
