I just thought i'd ask you fellas' what this one is like. I've heard it's one of the best of the 30yo bottlings.
This is my first OB of a Brora, and most expensive, so i'll have to wait for a special occasion to crack it open

Smoke and farmy notes with lovely sweet and bitter hints of orange peelings on the nose. Absolutely huge on the tongue with lots of pepper and light sweetness along with a smokiness that increases gradually. Finish is long and pure pleasure.
I regard this malt being the very definition of what I appreciate with Brora - complex, intellectual and powerful enough to overwhelm.
I'd go for it!

You've certainly sold it to me Andreas![]()
I'm glad I bought it.
I just have to look for a reason to crack it open now.
