Nose: Malty toffee, draff and stewed fruits. An old fashioned sweet shop with some fresh paint. Cloves, ginger and cinammon. Water freshens the fruit.
Palate: The spice theme continues. Plenty of oak, but in a good way. Water brings more fruit onto the palate.
Finish: Long and drying with cloves. Water brings a little bitterness.
Comment: Certainly oaky, but really delicious. Better without water though.
