Convalmore 1975 31yo Enjoy Whisky 46.9%, cask 2570, 268 bottles
Nose: Fruity malt at first. Estery with acetone and then it becomes floral with carnations and geraniums. Finally there's some Bovril. Not at all unpleasant, just very confused.
Palate: Fruity again with soothing malt, but then definite notes of nail varnish.
Finish: Spikes of heat fire through sugar until the heat overwhelms the sweetness.
Comment: Not bad whisky, but it's really all over the place.
