This is a vatting of whisky from October 1959 & February 1960 and bottled in the year of their marraige in 1986.

Nose - Christmas cake, marzipan, beeswax (but sweeter), orange blossom honey, ginger, sweet smoke in the background.

Palate - ginger, honey, blackcurrants, a little pepper, burnt oranges mixed with smoke.

Finish - medium length but warming.

This one really suprised me as i was not expecting to be so taken by the fact that theres so much going on with it. The nose is very special indeed and the palate is quite something. This is one of the best whiskies i have tasted for some time and i would recommend it to anyone. A quality vatting by some distance.
Look i only drink whisky now and again, honestly just the odd one for me.
