Hogshead 83 bottles
Nose : Horlicks, cream and mown hay. Oranges wrapped in bung cloth with coffee grounds, aniseed and camphor.
Taste : Amazingly bright delivery for its age, barley sugar and camphor drops. Heaps of oak come through now. Quite dusty and musty.
Finish : Old oak and gentle spices, fennel, cardamom and white pepper.
Comment : Showing its age, but not in a bad way.
