I was witholding further comment until I had a second dram of this whisky, which I am enjoying immensely as I post. This just may be the finest single malt I have tasted thus far. Wow!!! BIG...beefy malt to be sure. A bold, expressive exemplar of the form. I will need to spend a lot of time with this whisky to figure it all out.
It should be a lot of fun.

Apart from minis I've not had much luck with Mortlach though Iknow from some old GM versions it can be a big complex and genuinely special malt.
