Whisky Fringe 2012

Postby Willie JJ » 01 May 2012, 12:33

The usual wrestling match for tickets as the site went up in flames, but I think I got what I needed this time. Phew!

Anyone else got tickets?

Yes, I managed to get Saturday tickets this year.
I was getting worried as the Saturday tickets didn't appear on the website until nearly quarter past twelve, they soon went though.

Yes they seemed to stagger the release a bit. I'm not sure how that worked out for folk who maybe bought Friday/Sunday tickets thinking that Saturday had already gone.

Anyway it worked out ok for me in the end

Bugger. This fell through the gaps in my planning for my trip to the UK and I had no idea tickets had been released.
Ah well, plenty more fun to be had. Have fun, those who are attending! :iwbrnt:

I'm definitely interested if it is still available, thanks Livvy. Trying to find two for the same day with everything sold out is going to be interesting... but if I had to go by myself I am sure it is a hardship I could endure.

There will be loads. What annoys me about all this is that many people buy the full allocation of 4 tickets anyway and then there are always plenty going around spare nearer the time.

Haha...yeah..it was my job to get the tix for one day and Stacey's to get them for the other day of the Fringe. We thought this would be easier than buying a Sat n Sun ticket each as the Fringe tix never ever seem simple to buy. By the time she got to the checkout page she had 3 Sat tix and because of the fuss she just thought it simpler to take the 3 instead of trying to delete one.... :D

PS...on a much more simpler ordering note can you keep a pair of tix for Glasgow...priddy plz :)
