IB Scotch Malt whisky Society 29.66 18yo 53.7% - Laphroaig, November 1989-April 2008, Sherry Cask,
Tasted: 02/04/2009
Nose: Kippers, bitter oranges, Demerara sugar, cod liver oil, peat reek.
Palate: Sharp, fishy, tannins, sharp oranges, clear malt.
Finish: Sweet, long, fizzy, charming. Yummy.
Comment: A really top notch Laphroaig and a magnificent dram. I wish I had a case of this laid aside.
