Pit Krause, Malt Maniac from Germany runs two whisky clubs here in Bayern:
1. Regensburg Whisky Club http://www.whiskyregensburg.de

He is also quite active with "Slowdrink" which advocates the same philosophies as slow food.

I suppose the whisky tastings at the Tollbooth Tavern in Edinburgh might be considered a club as I charge a membership and we have a tasting every 3 weeks. Membership: £10 for the first 13 months £5 for the next then free after that. Membership entitles £3 off ticket price which is usually £20. First timers qualify for the discount too.
