The next morning

The next morning

Postby Yello to Mello » 20 Oct 2010, 18:12

For me sometimes the next morning is worse after smoking a cigar than drinking a lot of alcohol.

If I have the cigar too late at night, the smoke gets to my head and the cigar for the strength gives diaper mouth the next morning and brushing your teeth wont revive it.

How do you revive the mouth after? I think peach juice does it the best.

Whisky is definitely the answer for me but for goodness sake don't brush your teeth first! Assuming one doesn't have to work the routine that works for me is:
1) Cigarette
2) Beer + cigarette
3) Something to eat, preferably leftover doner kebab but failing that a fry up
4) Heavily peated whisky + cigarette
5) Shower + Cigarette
6) Brush teeth

If one is working then omit step 3

So you take a shot of whisky in the morning then brush your teeth?

Until I find a dram that's enhanced by an overwhelming minty taste I think it's for the best. Then again could there be a market for Ardbeg toothpaste?

I'm thinking the stick must have been either some kinda dog rocket (Century Sams anyone) or a full-bodied sucker that just kep going. If I taste a cigar that I liked next morning I just consider it a tasty echo...

Exactly, Frodo. What were you smoking, Yello? Something like this?

A Cohiba of some sort...I dont know what release. It might have been the mini R&J's that did it though. Grass would have been a better choice.

Brush your teeth, Listerine - do all that hygiene shit. Then break out an apple or two. Then after than just try eating as normal and it should at least get rid of the ashtray mouth - you'll still have that slightly smokey taste if you really concentrate on it but it's totally bearable.
