Colour: tawny

Nose: sherry, orange, coffee, cloves, apple, spice, burnt caramel - water brought more struck match flavour and some grape

Palate: sour, spice, slighty minty, orange, very dark chocolate - became slightly prickly with water (don't we all)

Finish: bitter, mint, chocolate

A good, old sherried Macallan. Reliable but nothing exceptional.
