Alex Brandly 1992 robusto with some Forty-Creek Mountain Rock that Wendy gave me. Really nice combo!

CAO America double robusto with Ron Matusalem 15. Good pairing although the rum seems to go with anything.

I ordered a bunch of Gurkha and a package of Alec Bradley cigars from the CI. It arrived quite fast. Last night I had Alec Bradley Tempus and was impressed.

Frodo, I just recently realized that during our discussion about RP Edge above I was thinking Decade, yet referring to Edge. Must be getting old.

It's not unusual to lose your Edge over the Decades.

Bud, just wanted you to know that CAO cigars are being cleared out by lots of retailers including CI. Almost 1/2 price from what I've heard. I think you owe it to yourself to at least try the Brazillias!

Had a Padilla Dominus Toro yesterday. Overpriced ($11) by a looooong shot. I don't think Padilla is my brand...

AB Tempus and a Flying Monkeys Netherworld Ale. Very nice combo - and I'm officially a believer in this cigar.

Will do, Frodo. Thanks. It is time to order another batch of cigars. This evening we celebrated Spring with a couple of cigars. I chose to have Gurkha Black Dragon, which turned out to be very good.

Joyo de Nicaragua Perfecto with Innis & Gunn. Not a bad cigar and went well with the beer.

Tempus Quadrum and an Ola Dubh 16. Didn't pair that well but loved the Tempus...

Fuente 858 Sungrown with Ron Zacapa 23. The Rum was too strong, but small sips compensated. Then on to AB Prensado. I'm really coming around to Alec Bradly cigars...

We got some Hoyo Petit Robustos into the shop so gave one a go. Lovely smooth smoke and shorter than the Epicure No. 2 so probably about 20 minutes smoke rather than 30+ which is ideal for a quick puff outside the shop (in the rain).

Montecristo No.4 with a Guinness, a coffee, a Buffalo Trace and an Uigeadail. Don't know if you could call that paired ;)

Really nice, although outside smoking can cause uneven burning :( I smoked about half of it, however perhaps on a warmer night I could have lasted longer with it. Surprisingly light and easy going, I would recommend this stick to someone wanting a good Cuban. Nice with the coffee and bourbon.

Rocky Patel's Decade and Fifteenth Anniversary. It was great to revisit both cigars, but the Fifteenth Anniversary was right on money.

It sure was nice to receive that present from you. Thanks again, Frodo.
