Murrayfield is the stadium where the Scottish rugby team plays its home fixtures - today they entertained the South Africans who are, I think, the World Champions.

Nick, at the risk of looking stupid and possibly missing the joke, how come the graphics in your signature never display? It was the same over on the Darkside. Am I the only person that can't see the images or do you really need to sort out your image

The images don't open - if you are desperate to see them then you can click through to see them (CTRL+click on a Mac; right click on a PC) but they aren't worth it. They do, though, enable me to get a very good count of how many people look at my posts.

Turn your back for a couple of days and everyone slips off and makes a new forum. Nice work Mark. :D

Haha - a foodie!
I often wondered why these didnn't display!
Thanks for that explanation. They are worth looking at - face to a name etc!

Cheers!

Taking pictures of airline meals is a bad habit of mine. But the photo you get from the third box is not flattering. I don't photograph well, but if people want a face, then here's one:

If you have a habit of photographing airline meals - that is a bad habit.

But don't do yourself down - you don't photo any worse than me :D

Car registration plates from the USA. I think they're great. The way an entire state can be summed up in a small picture and a pithy epithet. For example: Scenic Idaho - Famous Potatoes. Or Oklahoma is OK. Or You've Got a Friend in Pennsylvania. The other wall has black and white photos of Ireland, one from each province.

That's quite funny - Famous Potatoes; a claim to fame. Ireland is a country I'd like to visit someday (and Scotland of course)

Nick;
We call them "license plates" over here and Canadian ones are just as droll:
Ontario "Yours to discover"
Manitoba "Friendly Manitoba"
Quebec "Je me soviens" (We will remember)
Alberta "Wild Rose Country"
Saskatchewan "Land of living skies"
BC "Beautiful British Colombia"
Yukon "The Klondike"
NWT "Explore Canada's Arctic" (neat as it's in the shape of a polar bear)
Nunavut also uses "Explore Canada's Arctic" and the bear shape
Newfoundland and Labrador "A world of Difference"
PEI "Birthplace of Confederation"
Nova Scotia "Canada's ocean playground"
New/Nouveau Brunswick (No spiffy saying of any sort, but it is the only bilingual one)

Hallo Fishboy!

I hope you weren't as upset by the PM inviting you to join as some members at WM seem to have been.

According to Matt.

Thanks for the welcome! It's like coming back home!!

The PM didn't upset me at all! An invitation is surely just that - either accept or decline as you see fit. No need to go running to the Mods (if that's what happened).

Happy to be here!!

I just visited the "other place" for the first time in a couple of days (I'm sorry - a moment of weakness - I'll try not to let it happen again!!), and noticed that the individual members post counts have disappeared......

Has there been any explanation for this? I could obviously post this on the "other place" but any questioning of the admin of that forum appears to lead to severe chastisement.
