told the wife i'd booked this, and her reply

"it starts at what time!?!, you can get a hotel!"

i think that is a very bad idea based on my last night in york!

There is a possibility that I might come to this too!

I was originally planning to go to the Manchester whisky lounge on 15th October but have realised that I'll be going to an evening whisky tasting at my local friendly shop :P (can you believe this sorren... this will be a Glenfarclas evening?!) which will be on Thursday 13th Oct, and then I'm going to a private all day tasting event in Cheshire on Sunday 16th Oct.... so I'm not sure how 'prudent' it would be do do a tasting on Saturday 15th as well .... there's only so much a girl can take!!

So having missed the recent Liverpool whisky lounge, I'm going to try to make it to the York one! But I won't know for sure till tomorrow.
I must remember to forget....

Right! Definitely going although a little under-prepared. I have some older bottlings - one of which will be going for a (!ahem!) *bargain* - at least to this little Yorkshireman :P

Hope to see some of you there.
