Finally got round to watching Dead Snow. Good for a laugh. I'd score it 81.5/100. :D

ah, that movie gives me a good chuckle. the scene where the blokes face off against a zombies with a chainsaw and a sledge hammer is really entertaining. the music really helps as well

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Delightful! :D

Switched on the TV by chance when this was just starting last night and was immediately hooked.

Saw Ice Age 1 when it came out and enjoyed it... must have missed Ice Age 2 (but will watch it if I come across it)...

(I do occasionally watch films aimed at adult audiences too...)

Trailer (curiously this one is in French! .... but everyone can understand it :P ):

Crazy Stupid Love with Steve Carrell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone and others. A surprisingly good comedy with a heavy dose of drama.

As an added bonus for whisk(e)y geeks, Ryan Goslings' character's favourite drink includes Pappy Van Winkle (couldn't tell what age). They show a scene where he is creating the drink (I'm not a bartender/mixologist, so my guess of an 'old-fashioned' is just that, a guess) by pouring a small amount of something syrupy (bitters?) into the tumbler, then grinding a tablet (sugar?) of something, then pouring the bourbon and garnishing with orange peel. If you've seen the movie, or have an idea of what the drink is from my lame, overly generalized description, please let me know!
The wishlist is always growing...

It was Pappy 20 yo....

Yes, I think it was an Old Fashioned...probably whiskey since the character seemed to like whiskey. The "proper" way to make an old fashioned is to an muddle orange wheel w/3 dashes of Angostora bitters & 1/2 tsp superfine sugar (sometimes a maraschino cherry & a lemon twist also get muddled...); discard the orange wheel & lemon twist, add 2.5 oz of rye (rye is classic but people also like bourbon or brandy), a splash of club soda & ice cubes. Garnish w/orange half-wheel & a cherry. Delicious!
Don't become a fanboy.....always question, stay skeptical & follow the money.

Sherlock Holmes A Game of Shadows
Thoroughly entertaining from start to finish.
Chemistry between Downey Jr and Law is the best on screen since.........well the last Sherlock Holmes film.

+1 for Game of Shadows - quite silly, of course, but a very entertaining romp.

I can wholeheartedly recommend The Artist. Myself & Mrs. F went to see it on Friday and thought it was brilliant.

Went to see Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy last weekend. I can wholeheartedly recommend you don't waste your money and go and see it.
Convoluted just for the sake of it(really just swam around like a one legged duck), slow and suspense free.
Sit through 2.5 hours of it and you'll be glad if your the one assasinated by a spy.

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon (i think it's the third - the latest anyway). The human characters were so incredibly annoying i just wanted the Decepticons to win and destroy the Earth.

Excellent CGI and sound though.
