Amrut had to pull out at the last minute but Gordon & MacPhail had their bottles on their stand, as they're the distributor.

16 stands now filled. I think Abhainn Dearg want to come back, judging by the message on their homepage:

So if it's the same as last year then there's only 11 left to fill the place?
If I had all the money I've spent on whisky, I'd spend it on whisky.

Am I correct in thinking Abhainn Dearg will have bottled their first ever whisky by the time of the festival?

You are indeed correct. I reckon we will be the first, if not one of the first, to have Abhainn Dearg whisky. I have been told that there will be a limited number of bottles on the table as they are only bottling one cask so once it's gone it's gone.

Only bottling one cask for the whisky festival or only bottling one cask for the first release of 3yo whisky?

I think this will be the case, due to their small output, there will only be around 250 odd bottles unless its a sherry cask then i suppose 400odd
I wonder if they will impose a bottle limit due to this, i guess it makes sense to do so though

Yes, only one cask of the 3yo whisky. If you've seen my video on YouTube of the distillery or been yourself you will see the number of casks they have and the size of the output. Marko wants to make sure he has stock kept along the way so I expect there will be only small releases at each age he chooses to bottle at for the foreseable future.

Updates coming this week, promise! We have filled around 40 of the 50 stands for this year and tickets are once again almost sold out (including the latest batch released last month).

Less than 3 months to go!
