Really? In my case purely laziness. But i'm using it more and more. I have a laconic nature ( i'd have been a good Spartan - apart from the Pederasty!! ).

To be honest, I didn't mean that as a particular comment on your usage of it.

Currently enjoying Billy Connolly's Route 66. Even though he's become too self indulgent in recent years this has been quite interesting and funny.

Breaking Bad season 4 is brilliant. One episode to come and i'll watch them all through again.

Prohibition - another excellent Ken Burns production for PBS. How utterly STUPID was our country??! There are many lines you could draw between the rigid/immoveable Tea Party of today & the stupidity/rigidity of the "Drys".

Sadly...too true. I have "Baseball" on something called VHS tape...can't quite recall how those worked! I taped it off of PBS when it was originally broadcast about 20 (?!?!) years ago.
The wishlist is always growing...

I don't even like baseball & I enjoyed that series. Amazon sells it on DVD or if you're an Amazon "Prime" member, you can stream it for free (in the US... - not sure if you have that in Canada?).

I have been watching loads of Australian Masterchef - all those Aussies crying - fantastic stuff!
I feel no pain dear mother now
But oh, I am so dry!
O take me to the distillery
And leave me there to die.

Been watching French Masterchef lately, loads of crying there too, but then, all French series always need a good dose of emotions :D

Dexter... I keep wondering how this series can possibly become any creepier and more engaging, and am then continually surprised that it does just that.

The Spy Who Came In From The Cold - A classic. They sure do drink a lot of whisky - Richard Burton probably drank the real thing during filming....he said in an interview that he drank real whisky - one scene of him drinking a shot took 47 takes & he supposedly drank the real thing in every take! He was a pro.

A Ron Howard film... 'Cinderella Man' from 2005 with Russel Crowe and Renée Zellweger

The story of James Braddock, a supposedly washed up boxer who came back to become a champion and an inspiration in the 1930s.
