GWF 2011 Who's going!

Postby Jimmy321 » 12 Nov 2011, 20:59

It's only a week away, who on the forum is going.

I will be there with a few friends.
If I had all the money I've spent on whisky, I'd spend it on whisky.

I'll be there, along with a couple of mates - one of them is attending his first festival!

Looking forward to it very much. I'll be easy to spot as I won't be wearing a hat - red or otherwise. :D

The boss just gave me the green light to go, I only have two hats, a Douglas Laing baseball cap or a Shoei crash helmet, decisions, decisions.

The helmet sounds like a good idea. I may need to pick one up for next year's visit.

I'll be easy to spot, too, as the only one who has posted so far who won't be there.

Indeed full marks

high point Neil Berry pretending to pee (it was just spilt water)

low point - getting caught misappropriating Kerry from The Scottish Field's cans of Red Stripe, an innocent mistake - I thought it was a free bar, I plead deminished responsibilty, fool Mark

oh and a few good drams too: DL Port Dundas, Wemyss Malt's Teaninich (forgotten code name) Cadenheads Millburn and Cutty Sark 25yo

I tried that Bunnahabhain as well and thought it was great. 32 I think, though couldn't say for certain. My wife loved the Highland Park 13 from Creative Whisky.
