It still is, but there will be a thrid entrance with preticket holders :

Tickets to the Whisky Fair 2012 are now available for purchase at the online ticket shop of the Limburg townhall for 11 EUR plus shipping cost (8 EUR outside Germany).

We will install a third cash counter for owners of pre-selling tickets to guarantee a quick entrance to the Fair.

If sufficiently people has pretickets it might be faster to use the normal entrances

There hasn't been any long queues on sunday the few times I have been there anyway

True. The Sunday was fine last year but the Saturday was annoying. I queued for over an hour before the official opening time and when I did get in, two of the Masterclasses I was interested in had already sold out ! May be better if they have a third counter, although I think most of the Limburg crowd will prepurchase ....

Too busy telling myself I shouldn't go to Whiskyfest Bochum this weekend to think about Limburg ...

Just a week away now, or for me four working days and a TÜV (UK people read MOT for that).

Things got a little tenuous yesterday when we found out that our intended mode of transport wasn't possible thanks to Deutsche Bahn rescinding their co-operation in Germany's new law stating that disabled people and one 'helper' can travel for free anywhere in Germany and on any train.

Anyway, we still decided we wnated to be there and booked the ticket(s), a little too expensive, but we now have a nice long weekeknd toegther in Limburg, complete with a whisky fair

I just bought two new bow ties to mark the occasion too

Looking forward to meeting quite a few people there, both forum-wise and otherwaise

Well I have tickets for both days, but I may well not be able to go after all as my father-in-law died this morning. Don't know when the funeral is, but it may be that weekend or the day before, in which case I wouldn't be able to go. We'll see. If I can't and I know early enough, I'll let you all know and someone can have my tickets if they so wish (providing the post is quick enough)

Well, I will be there but only on the Saturday and I'm not going to be able to spend the night. Still, am looking forward to the Saturday and maybe seeing some of you. Shame we don't all have our www badges .....
