Only supposed to be 4 - 6 inches / 10 - 15 cm in total. Though the way it's being breathlessly reported, you would think that everything will get shut down!(Is it just me, or are the weather reports becoming "CNN-ized", where every single development is reported in the TV version of 80 point headlines?

Sounds like the same storm. Nasty attitude!! I don't remember one before where every corner of the state had road closures. I-80 was closed for more than 350 miles, including an eastbound closure out of Rock Springs because Rawlins (100 miles east of Rock Springs) ran out of motel rooms for the folks stranded there.
