We ordered tons of stuff to last us a bit. Ghurkas, Padillas, RP's, Cohiba pequenos, Partagas, and so forth. It turns out no one here has a mail card now after the last mailman redeployed, but we may be able to get our chaplain to access the mail room.

Praise the lord!

It's getting worse. Someone stole our burn barrel around which was our smoking club's daily production meeting. We are now investigating. I have a assembled a team of three cranky Canadians, a stoic Dutch airman, and a few heavily armed Americans to search for our barrel. We found a secondary barrel located right next to the main sewage drain, but the smell does not enhance the quality of cigars, gotta tell you that. Still managed to have a couple of Cohiba pequenos.

The cigars don't enhance the smell of the sewage drain, either!

Viajes have always piqued my curiosity give the rave about them on cigar fora. However, I can't bring myself to buy a cigar from a company who makes 99% of their stuff limited release.

Padilla 1932 Signature Torpedo, near the burn barrel where we burned some pallets. Lovely smoke. It's been at least three or four months since I had it last time and it was nice to revisit this one.

I havn't smoked many cigars but the flavour stood out to me. I was suprised just how nice it was. The only let down was its size. i have 4 more Cuabas each one gets a litter bigger.

Tonight i smoked a Vasco da Gama whisky cigar. Not sure if it's just a gimick or not but it was nice enough and i had to try one.

Has anybody had Partagas Black maximo?
I've never smoked a cigar, but I'm looking into enjoying one.
I'd like to pair with a bowmore.

Had an Oliva V Maduro (Nicaraguan) with a glass of Corner Creek bourbon from a Victoria whisky festival glass while reading an article in WA about Scotch Whisky barons.

I've had a regular Partagas Black (Toro) and found it to be pretty light. I think the Bowmore might swamp it but you really don't know 'tll you try it...

Anejo #48 and Zacapa XO this afternoon. The 48 is noticeably stronger than other Anejos but goes well with the rum!
