Arran The Eagle and Devil’s Punchbowl
Due March:

The Arran Malt ‘Icons of Arran’ #4 The Eagle

The fourth and final instalment of the Icons of Arran brings this series to a stylish close. The Eagle, perhaps the defining symbol of the Isle of Arran Distillery, is bottled from a selection of casks from our 1999 vintage and bottled at 46%. This limited release of 6,000 bottles will be bottled at 46% without chill-filtering.

Due May:

The Arran Malt – Devil’s Punchbowl

This Limited Edition release will highlight the cask selection skills of our Master Distiller and Blender James MacTaggart. Created from a vatting of our oldest and finest casks, the Devil’s Punchbowl will be bottled at Cask Strength and limited to approximately 6,000 bottles worldwide. With stunning packaging combined with superior whisky, we anticipate The Devil’s Punchbowl forming the first chapter of a new and highly sought after collection.

The big up language for the new series implies a relatively increased price tag I suspect.Cask strength pretty packaging etc

Well guys since the USA wasn't in on the icons series, I'll simply have to drool when I read your thoughts on the Eagle. But I'm sure hoping to get a ladle from that punchbowl.
I wasn't born here, but I got here as quickly as I could.

Devils punchbowl - wonder if it will have a punch of peat as the distillery manager is an Islay boy! ;)

I'm hoping that despite the name they keep the brimstone to a minimum. :)

Not likely the Devil will be peaty I think. The release says it's Arran's "oldest and finest casks." The distillery's literature for Machrie Moor says they've been peating whisky since 2004.

Too late now to get the "Peacock" at retail price.

However, I will be picking up the "Rowan Tree", "Westie" and "Eagle", just to 'put them aside' and see what happens.
